mY DIY (how to change ribbon for spiro)

Hello,its been a century since my last post right..miss me??XD

Being so busy with study,test,activities, and assignments recently.That's why no time to update my own blog("alasan je lebih").But since today is HOLIDAY in SELANGOR,so I'm taking this chance to relax and put away my homework and start update my blog.*If not ,for sure this blog will be full of spider web*.=D

Haih,life is hard without handphone.My sony erricsson spiro phone spoil last friday ,so cant't receive any call and reply any SMS(usually also same only~haha).But still need it to know the time and to set the alarm clock.What happen to my phone actually??Well the screen blackout because of the "ribbon" connected the screen and the circuit "koyak".I'll show the picture below.

Above is the picture of ribbon.
The red circle show the part that are "koyak".

One small part of it "koyak" but it affect the whole screen and the button.Since I'm run out of money to take it for repair ,so I decide to repair it myself("Bunyi cam power~haha").Before start to repair first must find the spare part first,so I went to the nearest shopping center(The Mines) to look for the spare part.Well it took me only 10 mins to find the spare part BUT it took my one week pocket money to buy one ribbon.Dem expensive ,around RM45 for one ribbon.Is It I'm being cheated or what??Either way I still need to buy it so doesn't care too much and bough it(Heart pain~pain pain pain~haiz).

So now we have the spare part already,I will teach you how to DIY replace the ribbon below.Look and read at the steps carefully so that your phone will be in a good condition.

First prepare the tool : phillips screwdriver ,ATM card/credit card.

Step 1

Remove the back cover,battery pack and also the sim card.

follow by,removing the screws from the 4 position mark with red circle using the phillips screwdriver.

Step 2

Slide the phone until it become like the picture above.You will see a ribbon attach the screen and the other body of the phone together.Now you must detach the ribbon from its ribbon connector(also known as zif connector).

Use your nail to unlock the brown color ribbon lock(also known as latch which opens and closes on a hinge) shown by the red circle.After unlock pull the ribbon out slowly and separate the screen and the body.

Step 3

Use an ATM card or credit card to remove the white color plastic.Peel it slowly so that you can paste it back later on.

After peel it off then it become like this

Step 4

Remove the screws from the 4 position mark with red color circle.

Step 5

For this step you must push your ATM card around the the join until it loose.Start from the top and work your way around until the thing get loose.

Step 6

The two white clip mark with red color circle hold the keypad membrane.Release the clips and flip the keypad membrane over

and become like this

Same as step 2,Use your nail to unlock the brown color ribbon lock(also known as latch which opens and closes on a hinge) shown by the red circle.After unlock pull the ribbon out slowly.

Step 7

After remove the old ribbon replace it with the new one and reverse all the steps one by one starting from step 6 --> step 5 --> step 4 --> step 3 --> step 2 -->step 1

This is how I done it~It takes me less than 30 minutes to do it.So why bother take it for repair if you can DIY.

Lesson that I get is ,take good care of your things.It may not seem expensive the time you bought it,but when come to repair and spare part it can cost you a lot.Love your belongings ,take good care of it,it really worth when you can use your belonging in good condition.

Fuhh,so tired..Well I just came back from reunion with my form 5 ex-classmates.Long time already didn't meet with them.Some have change much but some are still the same..haha..for your info two of my classmates already get married and have children,but didn't have chance to meet with their kids.maybe on next reunion hopefully.By then maybe they already call me uncle and no more "Abang".haha

Our reunion start at 7.30pm(actually organizer ask to come at 5pm,but I have something to do so went there a bit late),is same time as Break Fast / "Buka Puasa" for my muslim friends.So we are having our dinner at mines food court.Hell hot(the air-conditioner being shut off) and crowded by people who are coming for "Buka Puasa"*can you imagine how we feel??just like in a sauna*.But since there are no place that are available so we quickly order and finish our food as fast as we can.After that we went for a walk at "The Mines 2" located next to "The Mines"."The Mines 2" is a new building,its officially open on 29june2011.From what I see,the place not yet fully rented since only several shop are open but I think in few years time "The Mines 2" can be just like "Low Yat" since the main attraction is Gadgets and Digital stuffs.So anyone interested to open a digital shop can go check it out,located near "Serdang KTM".

Enough with "The Mines 2",now we headed to night market or also known as "downtown" by my friend.Never went there before feel excited for a while *Hooray*.Before that we went for a river side walk near "The Heritage" just opposite "The Mines" *take picture,chit chat,laughing,scare by rat and walking and walking and walking*.Haih,tired of walking so end up went to mamak and lepak-ing~haha~*Continue chit chat,gossiping,laughing,drinking,and talk talk talk until nothing to talk anymore*.So we decide to went home~time already 10.30pm~*Rush quickly to the bus stop,run run run*Now = 3x tired(walk+talk+run~but luckily still got bus service at this time of interval*Hooray*.Finally reach home at 11pm sharp.

Quickly change my clothes,onn laptop,on fan,onn speaker,and not forget onn facebook(this 1 is a must).And now(1.03am) updating my blog about "How Much Is Your Website Worth??...".WTH,out of topic already~what am I talking rubbish just now??Sorry Sorry~Come come I show you something.........look at the picture below..................................................................

"Gold Man" Arrested by welfare department

While surfing the internet to read some news at myMetro ,I came across this article that says "Saya tak tahu ini salah" .The article wrote about the news of a "Gold Man" who had been arrested by the welfare department at star hill(Bukit Bintang).

The "Gold Man" who want to be known as "Elvis" 42 years old says that he became "Gold Man" or "Orang Emas" is to find some income for his family.He a father of two child who live in Ipoh,Perak travel to Kuala Lumpur after been persuade by his friend to work as "Gold Man".However,his career didn't stay long when he is arrested by the welfare department after four days of working as "Gold Man".

In the article,He says that he is worried about his family and thinking that what will happen to them if he is charge for his offense.He added that,working as "Gold Man" can earn him as much as R100 to Rm200 per day and what he does to earn the money is just stand still and wait for people to come and take picture with him with many kind of post.For the customer ,for them to be able to take picture with "Gold Man" they only need to pay RM2 per person.

Elvis says ,after known that the work he is working now is against the law he regreted and will be more careful in finding job in the future.For now,he will be investigated in accordance with Section 32 of the Destitute Persons Act 1977 and may be detained for a month.

“Tanpa berfikir panjang, saya membeli tiket ke Kuala Lumpur seminggu lalu. Ini hari keempat saya bekerja sebagai Gold Man. Tidak sangka akan ditahan pihak berkuasa,” katanya.

Elvis berkata, kini dia risau memikirkan nasib isteri dan anaknya jika kesalahan yang dilakukan akan menyebabkannya didakwa serta ditahan dalam tempoh yang agak lama.

“Saya buntu memikirkan nasib isteri dan anak yang masih kecil, bagaimana isteri akan mencari wang untuk menampung kehidupan mereka kerana selama ini dia tidak pernah bekerja,” katanya.

Katanya, sepanjang empat hari melakukan pekerjaan itu dia mampu memperoleh pendapatan antara RM100 dan RM200 dalam sehari.

Apa yang dilakukannya hanyalah berdiri dengan meletakkan satu tin kosong dan mengharap simpati orang ramai memasukkan duit bagi membolehkannya membuat pelbagai gaya sambil orang ramai merakam gambar bersamanya.

Elvis berkata, selepas mengetahui apa dilakukannya menyalahi undang-undang dia menyesal dan akan lebih berhati-hati memilih pekerjaan pada masa hadapan. Sementara itu, Ketua Bahagian Warga Tua dan Keluarga JKM Wilayah Persekutuan, Mujah Hamat berkata, kegiatan Elvis yang meraih simpati agar diberikan sumbangan kewangan dianggap sebagai mengemis.“Dia akan disiasat mengikut Seksyen 32 Akta Orang Papa 1977 dan boleh ditahan untuk tempoh sebulan,” katanya.

In my opinion,the career as "Gold Man" is not a crime or to be known as beggar because they didn't sell pityness(sorry can't find the suitable word yet) nor doing anything that can harm others but only entertain the people passing by.Nevertheless their existence in Star Hill have been a new attraction for people to come to meet them close up since "Gold Man" only appear on other country.

The career as "Gold Man" also had been on the malaysia documentary show "Majalah 3",from the show I can see that being a "Gold Man" is not easy because they need to prepare mentally and physically.Its not hard to stand still for 2minutes but,how about standing still for 30minutes,45minutes or even one hours?can you do that?So,from here we can see that they put up their hardwork and their own sweat to earn money.Does beggar do this??no right??

Not only that,the costume they wear if I'm not mistaken it cost more then RM200 for one costume(*watch from Majalah3*).Is not a small number for me,I think I can buy so many kind of food with that much of money.*out of topic abit*.What I want to say is that being a "Gold Man" is just like a business that still need modal to start with.It is just like people selling "Nasi Lemak" near the housing area or near roadside.They just want to find some income for their family and not harming people or begging for money. The only different thing is those people selling food but "Gold Man" sell entertainment.

p/s : By the way its just my own opinion.To "Gold Man" ,may luck always be with you.Try find a place where people can accept you as entertainer.To other parties,try to find a way where you can get a win-win situation for all.A good talent like this is hard to find,not everyone willing to do it and it is entertaining.For sure it can increase the tourism and attract people to visit malaysia.

Last week ,on my way to work somewhere near "The Mines Shopping Mall".

After came down from the bus and taking the path that I always use to get myself to work.
Suddenly,in front of me I saw

I was laughing silently
and the first thing in my mind is
"Besi Naik Harga Ker"??
I was thinking that only one of the drain cover was stolen
but when I'm walking further
"Damn"
all "Gone" already
5/6 of them if I'm not mistaken

My holidays will end earlier this time..
A few more days to go for the "KUKEP" camp..
"KUKEP" is a camp held for student to built their leadership skills out of themselves..
It also teach us to work in team..
Cant wait to attend the camp..
Because from my last experiences the camp is held at the seaside and in the jungle..
It is a good experience..last time I had a chance to learn how to built a "rakit" with my friends..It is fun and exciting!!
Must thanks to the fasililtator that had given us the chance to beat them in the water battle..we manage to conquer their sampan..hahahahahaha
I hope the coming camp will be more exciting than last time..

and so may people taking the chance to go shopping since there are sales everywhere..
~~since there are sales I had buy myself a jeans and a bag for my mom~~

Study Week!!

Study Week!!
First Time staying in college during study week..
Is kind of great at first..
Why??..coz the internet line is super fast..
and Many students have gone home..
Only left a few student whom home are far away from upm...
Usually the student from sabah,sarawak or north malaysia...

What do I do during study week??
Study.......???
Lucky guess...but No!!
Start from the first day of study week until today....
Play games + sleep + watch movie + facebook + eat + eat n eat....
didn't touch any notes,not even take a peek on it..
and finally today decide to go home...
Left my rumate alone there..XD
Hope he can survive the study week alone there..XD
Rumate,the maggie mee if you want take lar..*incase the cafe tutup...XD

Now I wondering ,do we need study week??
Study week really make me become more lazy and lazy...
Have no heart to study..
and just wasting more time..

Today is the last day to say good bye to prt2008..
I mean say good bye to the subject "Pertanian dan Manusia"..XD
For me, prt2008 actually an interesting subject ..
Because it is related to what we eat daily..*vegetables,milk,fish,meat n .....*

I personally like to "bercucuk tanam"..*it happen n years ago lar*
I got try to grow "KangKung" at my backyard....
But fail,cause no time to water the plants and the "kangkung" layu and finally die...T.T

So,if you are lazy like me better dont grow vegetables...Go buy at the super market..haha
